 Cricket is growing at the high speed and total number of playing nations has crossed one hundred which are divided into three class i.e. full members, associates and affiliates members. Full members’ cricket has way bigger standard than associates and affiliates cricket. Associates and affiliates cricket growing slowly but steady and today we are going to discuss about some of the best cricket tournaments outside the full membership.

8) Pokhara Premier league:

     Pokhara Premier League is a franchise based T20 Cricket tournament in Nepal. The tournament is managed by Queen's Event Management.

The league is an auction-based tournament where players will be sold based on different price ceilings.The idea of organizing it in Pokhara is mainly to create a benchmark for domestic cricket, initiate sports tourism mechanism within the region and establish it as one of the cricketing hubs within the country. All matches are shown be live on Himalayan TV HD. The first edition was organized on 2018. This is the third largest national level league played in Nepal. Before this, Everest Premier League and Dhangadi Premier league were two national level hitting leagues.

7) Dhangadi Premier League: 

     The Dhangadhi Premier League is a franchise Twenty20 cricket league in Nepal. The league was founded by the Dhangadhi Cricket Academy and Sudur Pashchim Academy in 2017. The league includes best national and some of best associates players like Rohan Mustafa and his team mate Ashaf Ahmed and Hong Kong duo Anshuman Rath and Babar Hayat and including  some players from India, Pakistan etc. The DPL season runs between the months of March and April, with each team playing 5 matches in round-robin format; the top 4 teams with the best record qualify for the Playoffs and culminates in the final. The main objectives of the tournament is to nourish the domestic talent and ultimate goal is the construction of Fapla Cricket Staudim in Dhangadi,Nepal.

6)  US OPEN T20: 

     It's been more than a decade of commencement of the  tournament but the league had been unnoticed until the 2018 edition. That edition was noticed globally with presence of some of best players from  associates nations like Scotland, UAE, Netherlands etc. The tournaments also includes players like Dj Bravo, Kevin O'brien and many more.

 

5) EURO T20 Slam: 

   The Euro T20 Slam is a proposed Twenty20 cricket tournament planned to be held in Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands. The first edition of the tournament was scheduled to start in August 2019 with six teams competing. The tournament is postpone to 2021 because of pandemic in 2020. The tournament is expected to be great due to the presence of some of the best players like Eoin Morgan, Rashid Khan,Brendon McCullum, Shane Watson and many more. The news said that Mr.sixer Yuvraj Singh could also participate in tournaments. The tournament is expected to be hit.

  

4) HKT20 Blitz: 

         The Hong Kong T20 Blitz was a cricket competition in Hong Kong that was first played in 2016. The inaugural event consisted of four franchised teams playing in a Twenty20 format only. In July 2019, the competition was cancelled, due to ongoing financial issues. This tournament includes some of the great players from the world. The tournament  is expected to back in some years.  The tournament saw the bigger name in international circuit. 

3) Everest Premier League: 

            Everest Premier League is a franchise Twenty20 cricket tournament organized by EPL Pvt. Ltd., a private group in Nepal run by Aamir Akhtar and Suraj Giri. The biggest cricket tournament in the country, it is played during the northern winter calendar, mostly in the month of December. The tournament include best associates cricket player and some of the from test playing nation. The tournament was expected to be great with presence of Universal boss Chris Gyale but it was called up. The tournament will be telecast on global broadcast partner Dsports. This tournament seems to be greater and has potential to be the best associates cricket league. 

 2) T10 League: 

              T10 League is a ten-over format cricket league in the United Arab Emirates launched and owned by T Ten Sports Management.The league is approved by the Emirates Cricket Board. Matches are 10-over-a-side and the duration of each match is 90 minutes. The tournament is a round robin followed by Eliminators and the Final. The tournament include some of the best players from the world. The first edition was organized in last year. The tournament includes player like Moeen Ali, Mohammad Amir, Dj Bravo, Chris Lynn, Yuvraj Singh, Zaheer Khan and many more.

       

1) Global T20 Canada: 

                     The Global T20 Canada is a 20-over cricket tournament played in Canada. The first edition of the tournament took place during June and July 2018 with six teams competing. This tournament include world class player like David Warner, Steven Smith, Andre Russel  and many more. The league has been broadcast in various global region via TV networks. The proper combination of associates player and best players of the world make it best associates league.
